Our Story
Latte Express started as a simple belief: that a great cup of coffee and a properly laminated croissant shouldn't require a reservation. Just show up, breathe in the aroma of fresh bread, and let the bay breeze do the rest.
Tucked into the historic waterfront at Beach Street, we've become the neighborhood's quiet ritual — the place where fishermen finish their shift, where remote workers claim the corner table, and where first-time visitors discover why San Francisco takes its food seriously.

The Craft
We don't rush the dough. Our sourdough ferments for 48 hours, developing the complex flavor and open crumb that you can't fake. We pull each espresso shot and watch the color change — that amber turbulence is where the magic lives.
Our coffee beans are sourced from farms that treat their workers fairly and their soil well. We roast in small batches so every bag tastes like the day it was ground.
